These protectors are recommended for use where the chance of re-infestation is high, your mattress is torn,  you are unable to treat the mattress with steam OR YOU JUST WANT THE PEACE OF MIND OF A PROTECTED MATTRESS. They DO NOT STOP INFESTATIONS but will lock any bugs either out of the mattress to maintain integrity or in the mattress or base where you are unable to access steam facilities or do not wish to dispose of or damage your bed. Care must be taken when fitting the protectors to not tear them and they must remain in place and be properly closed at all times.
